Working with the largest carbon emitters in Ukraine and beyond, Eney will play a key role in the decarbonization of Eastern Europe and beyond. Our goals are to replace high greenhouse gas emission assets with clean alternatives, generate carbon neutral electricity or fuels, capture CO2 and other emissions, and build electricity storage capacity to enhance energy resilience. We will focus on the energy sector, and we will champion U.S. technologies.

Eney is built on two core beliefs:

Mitigating and reversing Climate Change will mean an ever growing and urgent demand for decarbonization technologies and approaches

Private capital will succeed where government has failed or failed to act quickly enough

Nuclear

The most promising solution for power sector decarbonization is highly maneuverable nuclear generation based on proven technology — small modular nuclear reactors (SMRs). The first commercial implementation of this “new” technology will be realized by private capital, just as private investment transformed the space industry.

Carbon Capture

For assets that are not outright replaced with low carbon or carbon neutral alternatives, carbon capture and either the utilization or sequestration/storage (CCUS) of that carbon is essential for decarbonization.

Renewable Power

Wind, solar and biofuels are already proven technologies that produce low or zero carbon electricity.

Storage

Developing electricity storage capacity is the key to power sector stability.

Others

Technology is rapidly evolving, and private capital can implement innovation quickly. Other technologies will be incorporated where technologically sound and viable, and new technologies will be considered as they develop.
